ONLINE MODULE AND COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE
Through the current pandemic, the opioid crisis continues. Helping primary care providers, residents and medical learners support patients through challenges with acute and chronic pain has never been more important.
Overcoming Barriers to safe Opioid Prescribing is an accredited CEPD program that incorporates two approaches to education:
1. Online module
o Downloadable evidence-based tools and resources
o Interactive: work through case-based scenarios
2. Community of practice workshops
o Virtual format
o Connect with other providers & reduce feelings of isolation
o Work through challenging cases in collaboration with like-minded peers
Registration fees for the program have been WAIVED until the end of March 2021.
